Product Description
The Lensbaby Fixed Body with Sweet 80 Optic for Nikon F is a creative manual focus lens that pairs the acclaimed Sweet 80 Optic with a dedicated Fixed Body, delivering Lensbaby's signature selective-focus effect in a convenient, ready-to-use design. Engineered specifically for Nikon F-mount full-frame and APS-C DSLR cameras, this lens produces expressive images with a tack-sharp Sweet Spot surrounded by beautifully soft blur.
The integrated Sweet 80 Optic creates Lensbaby's iconic Sweet Spot effect, allowing photographers to emphasize their subject with a precisely focused area while the surrounding portions of the frame transition smoothly into a dreamy blur. This unique rendering naturally draws the viewer's attention to the subject, making it ideal for artistic portraits and creative close-up photography.
With its 80mm focal length, the lens offers a flattering short telephoto perspective that's perfect for portraits, weddings, flowers, still life, product photography, and fine art. When mounted on a Nikon DX (APS-C) DSLR, it provides an approximate 120mm full-frame equivalent field of view, making it especially effective for tightly framed compositions and detailed subjects.
The bright f/2.8 maximum aperture delivers excellent background separation while preserving Lensbaby's signature artistic look. The included magnetic aperture disk system allows photographers to quickly select apertures from f/2.8 to f/22, giving full control over the size of the Sweet Spot and the overall depth of field.
Built with multi-coated optical glass, the Sweet 80 Optic produces vibrant colors, high contrast, and minimized flare. The lightweight Fixed Body features durable composite construction with a metal Nikon F mount, making it an ideal creative lens for photographers seeking expressive in-camera effects.
