Product Description
The Lensbaby Sweet 22 Optic for Nikon Z brings Lensbaby's signature Sweet Spot selective focus effect to an immersive 22mm wide-angle perspective, allowing photographers to create dramatic compositions with a sharp focal area surrounded by beautifully soft blur. Designed specifically for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras, this creative optic is perfect for photographers who want to combine expansive scenes with expressive selective focus.
Unlike traditional wide-angle lenses that strive for edge-to-edge sharpness, the Sweet 22 emphasizes your subject with a crisp Sweet Spot while the surrounding areas transition smoothly into a dreamy blur. This unique rendering naturally guides the viewer's attention and creates images with depth, atmosphere, and artistic character.
The 22mm focal length is ideal for environmental portraits, street photography, travel, landscapes, architecture, interiors, and documentary work. Its wide field of view allows photographers to include more of the surrounding environment while maintaining Lensbaby's signature creative aesthetic.
Featuring a bright f/3.5 maximum aperture, the Sweet 22 offers excellent creative flexibility. The included magnetic aperture disk system allows quick aperture adjustments from f/3.5 to f/22, giving photographers complete control over the size of the Sweet Spot and overall depth of field.
Built with multi-coated optical glass, the Sweet 22 delivers vibrant colors, excellent contrast, and minimized flare while preserving its unique artistic rendering. Its lightweight construction makes it an ideal companion for photographers looking to expand their creative vision with Nikon Z mirrorless cameras.
