Product Description
The Lensbaby Fixed Body with Sweet 50 Optic for Canon RF is a creative manual focus lens that combines the renowned Sweet 50 Optic with a dedicated Fixed Body, providing photographers with a simple, ready-to-use solution for creating Lensbaby's signature selective-focus images. Designed specifically for Canon RF-mount full-frame and APS-C mirrorless cameras, this lens produces expressive photographs with a tack-sharp focal area surrounded by beautifully soft blur.
The integrated Sweet 50 Optic creates Lensbaby's iconic Sweet Spot effect, allowing photographers to isolate their subject with a crisp area of focus while the surrounding image gradually transitions into a smooth artistic blur. This distinctive rendering naturally draws attention to the subject and adds depth, emotion, and visual impact to every composition.
Featuring a versatile 50mm focal length, the lens is ideal for portraits, weddings, lifestyle photography, flowers, still life, street photography, and creative everyday shooting. Its bright f/2.5 maximum aperture delivers attractive background separation while maintaining the unique Lensbaby aesthetic.
The included magnetic aperture disk system allows photographers to easily adjust the aperture from f/2.5 to f/22, providing precise control over the size of the Sweet Spot and overall depth of field. Wider apertures maximize the artistic blur effect, while smaller apertures expand the area of sharp focus for greater compositional flexibility.
Constructed with multi-coated optical glass, the Sweet 50 Optic produces rich colors, excellent contrast, and minimized flare. The lightweight Fixed Body is comfortable to handle and offers a durable platform for photographers seeking a dedicated Lensbaby creative lens without the need for interchangeable optics.
