Product Description
The Lensbaby Fixed Body with Sweet 50 Optic for FUJIFILM X is a creative manual focus lens that combines the acclaimed Sweet 50 Optic with a dedicated Fixed Body, offering a simple, ready-to-use solution for photographers seeking Lensbaby's signature selective-focus effect. Designed specifically for FUJIFILM X-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras, this lens creates expressive images with a tack-sharp focal area surrounded by beautifully soft blur.
The integrated Sweet 50 Optic produces Lensbaby's iconic Sweet Spot effect, allowing photographers to highlight their subject with a crisp area of focus while the surrounding portions of the frame transition smoothly into an artistic blur. This unique rendering naturally draws attention to the subject, creating images with exceptional depth, emotion, and visual impact.
Featuring a 50mm focal length, equivalent to approximately 75mm on FUJIFILM X APS-C cameras, the lens offers a flattering short telephoto perspective that is ideal for portraits, weddings, lifestyle photography, flowers, still life, and creative everyday shooting. Its bright f/2.5 maximum aperture provides beautiful background separation while maintaining the distinctive Lensbaby aesthetic.
The included magnetic aperture disk system allows photographers to quickly select apertures from f/2.5 to f/22, making it easy to adjust the size of the Sweet Spot and overall depth of field. Wider apertures maximize the artistic blur effect, while smaller apertures increase the area of sharp focus for greater compositional flexibility.
Constructed with multi-coated optical glass, the Sweet 50 Optic delivers rich color, excellent contrast, and reduced flare. The lightweight Fixed Body is comfortable to use and provides a durable platform for photographers who want a dedicated Lensbaby creative lens without the need for interchangeable optics.
